Celebrate the season at Pleased to Meet You Tynemouth with our Festive 2 or 3 Course Christmas Menu, a culinary journey designed to bring holiday cheer. Start with the indulgent Gamekeepers Scotch Egg, perfectly cooked and served with a creamy celeriac remoulade and fresh watercress salad. For the main event, savour the classic flavours of a Traditional Butter Roasted Turkey, accompanied by crispy duck fat roast potatoes, honey and thyme roasted root vegetables, chestnut sprouts, apricot and cranberry stuffing, pancetta-wrapped chipolatas, and rich turkey gravy. Finish on a sweet note with our decadent Hazelnut Sticky Toffee Pudding, drizzled in a luscious toffee sauce— the perfect festive indulgence, these being 1 of many choices available on our fantastic menus. We also cater to all dietary preferences, offering dedicated Vegan, Vegetarian, and non gluten menus, ensuring everyone can enjoy the festive feast.
Festive Afternoon Tea
Join us for a Festive Afternoon Tea, a delightful celebration of seasonal flavours. Enjoy an assortment of festive sandwiches including Turkey and Cranberry, Honey Roast Ham, and Smoked Salmon with Cream Cheese, alongside Mature Cheddar Cheese with Spring Onion. Indulge in freshly baked scones, featuring Mature Northumbrian Cheddar and Spiced Cranberry & Orange, served with preserves and clotted cream. Sweet treats include Emily’s Sweet Chocolate Treat, a classic Sweet Mince Pie dusted with cinnamon sugar, a decadent Lemon Meringue Sherry Trifle, and Winter Flavoured Macaroons. Complete your experience with a glass of prosecco, mulled wine, or your choice of tea or coffee for the perfect festive touch.

Festive Buffet Menus (min 30)
For a truly festive celebration, our Festive Buffet is perfect for groups of 30 or more. Enjoy seasonal finger food options like the delicious Butter Roasted Turkey Slider Buns, packed with tender turkey and festive flavours, or the indulgent Maple Glazed Pigs in Blankets, a sweet and savoury holiday favourite. For something savoury with a twist, try the Sage and Onion Chicken Tenders, crispy and full of flavour.
We also offer a hot fork buffet featuring comforting dishes like our Butter Turkey Curry, served with steamed basmati rice, onion bhajis, and coriander and garlic naan. For a plant-based alternative, enjoy the hearty Cauliflower, Chickpeas, and Quinoa Curry, paired with the same delicious sides. With a range of options including Sticky Pickle Sausage Rolls, Filo King Prawn Cigars, and Panko Breaded Brie Wedges with cranberry compote, there’s something to suit every palate at your festive gathering.
